Bring a stuffy friend to join in on the fun! There will be stories about friendship, songs and a craft. Leave your stuffy friends with us for a special sleepover. You can pick up your friend March 8 from 10-3 p.m.Registration begins February 6 and ends when session is full.
Stop by the community room to pick out seeds for your spring garden. From 5:30-6:30 join MSU Extension Wayne County Educator Lindsey Kerr as she talks about how to start cool season crops (like cabbage, kale and broccoli) as well as warm season favorites (like tomatoes, peppers and eggplants). Each participant will take home a small pot of seeds to start at home. Registration is required by calling 734-283-1250 or by stopping by the circulation desk.
Upcycled small boxes will become sneaky traps prefect for catching even the trickiest leprechauns. Best suited for those ages 5+. Registration begins March 3 and ends when session is full.
Stop by and pick up this month’s kit. The kit features a small sample of Sumac, a brief description/history of the spice, recipes featuring the spice and a few blank recipe cards to record your own creations. Registration not required. Kits will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until gone.
Join homeschoolers in the area for conversation, games & art fun! Designed for homeschoolers but all are welcome. Best suited for those ages 4+. Registration begins February 10 and ends when session is full.
The community room will be stocked with beads, strings and all the things to make beaded creations. Best suited for those ages 5+. Registration not required.
We have a whole group of fluffy stuffed animals friends that need a little TLC. Participants can use our vet tools to take care of these pretend pets (or bring one of your own) and help them feel their best. We will also be listening to stories, singing songs and making a fun craft. Registration begins March 6 and ends when session is full.
