September 25, 2024Janet Kasic, a former tour operator and freelance travel writer, will be discussing how time has shaped Mackinac into the island that it is today. Participants will learn the role Boy Scouts play on the Island each year and what it is really like to live there all year long. Best suited for ages 14+. October 5, 2024Our first annual doggie costume parade is the perfect opportunity to celebrate Halloween with your four-legged best friend. Start at the Gazebo to sign-up for the costume contest and enjoy activities around Reflection Pond. All ages welcome. All animals must be vaccinated and kept on a leash for the duration of the event. Registration begins September 23 and ends October 3.
