On Christmas Eve 1913 73 people died (mostly children) in a stampede following a false cry of "Fire!" at the Italian Hall in Calumet in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The tragedy occurred during a miner's strike in the "Copper Country”. Make plans to attend to hear the rest of the story. Best suited for ages 13+.
